ANIALATOR was formed in 1986 by ex-Devastation bassist Alex Dominguez. Thrash Metal was just starting to get popular in Corpus Christi (TX) thanks to bands like Devastation (TX) and Angkor Wat. Finding musicians into this style of music was a task. More Thrash Metal shows kept coming through Corpus Christi and the underground scene kept growing. Alex Dominguez finally met people who were into the same bands as he. ANIALATOR was born. This group of speed freaks consisted of Mark Olivo (guitar), Alonzo Garcia (drums), Mark Arispe (vocals), David Trevino (guitar).
After many months of rehearsals ANIALATOR entered Koda Music at the end of ‘86 and recorded their 4 song self titled demo. In January 1987 ANIALATOR officially released their demo worldwide. Four months after the demo was released, ANIALATOR signed a deal with Wild Rags Records where the band released its self titled EP “Anialator” (1988), “Anialator II” (1989), and a picture disc (1990) containing both EP’s. After this, the band recorded a 3-song demo in ’90 which remained unreleased and then changed their name into Sufferance.
ANIALATOR reformed in late 2015 thanks to the internet, Ebay and a new generation of young fans who have discovered ANIALATOR. Since reforming, the band has released its back catalog on CD called “Mission of Death” that was released in may 2017 by Xtreem Music, same label that also agreed to released new music from ANIALATOR in 2018 in the form of a 5 song EP entitled “Rise to Supremacy”. This new EP will prove that ANIALATOR isn't just a band from the past but a wrecking machine that's here to slay all in their path. The Killing Has Just Begun!
