MOŅIGO
MOŅIGO
Biography:
The origin of those obscene worshippers of shit dates back to 2005. In a little hovel in a slum of Madrid, two close friends, Edu and Daviti, where recording some homemade tapes. They were playing a primitive Brutal Death mixed with Gore Grind riddled with dirty lyrics. After some of these shameful tapes and a hard process of sonic defecation, they recorded at the end of 2005 a DIY album called “Copromo 2006”, with a nauseating artwork, with the name of MOŅIGO. A few months Later, they recorded a cover of classic MORTICIAN’s “Zombie Apocalypse”, that was included in the international Tribute to Mortician released by Alarma Rec. During the summer of 2006, because of the possibility of play live that Copromo, Daviti asked Sergio, the bassist of another Death Metal band where he was playing too, to help them in the gigs in a provisional way. The chance of collaborate in that stinky band of shit, porn and bad smell was too much for him to say no!

After a funny and brutal first gig, the trio showed to work well together and Sergio became a former member of the band. After a year spreading shit in a lot of gigs they recorded new stuff, faster and groovier, included in a 3 way split with MIXOMATOSIS and EL MUERMO. It was called COPRO GRIND GORE 3 WAY and was released by La Médula Espinal Prods. In the spring of 2008.

MOŅIGO continues playing gigs with bands like DIFENACUM, LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER, ALTAR OF GIALLO, HAEMORRHAGE, REGURGITATE, GENERAL SURGERY or DEMIGOD, and at the end of 2008, they played their last “official” gig ‘till today (although they continue making little coprophile fiestas) and started to take their time to compose, arrange and record their next project. Finally, in autumn of 2010 the stuff was ready and Xtreem Music took charge of the edition. Phlegeton (WORMED, HUMAN MINCER, GODÜS, BANISHED FROM INFERNO) was in charge of the artwork and design. And now, in May 2011, MOŅIGO comes back with the album “Coprometidos con la Causa (Shit & Honor!)”, with 13 songs of fast, brutal and coprophile Gore Grind. In this new work, an invasion of coprophile fat chicks, nymphomaniac grannies, shit-eaters savages and fecal zombies marches with those three brown warriors in their fight against the hygiene. Prepare for the fecal holocaust, because MOŅIGO is back!
